Key Responsibilities
Pipeline Management: Guide high-net-worth clients or complex commercial borrowers through the entire loan lifecycle from pre-qualification to final closing.
Financial Analysis: Evaluate credit reports, income statements, tax returns, and property appraisals to determine loan eligibility and structure repayment plans.
Compliance & Oversight: Ensure all loan files and agreements adhere to industry regulations, such as Fair Housing laws and TILA guidelines.
Leadership & Strategy: Mentor junior loan officers, assist in reviewing difficult loan files for approval or rejection, and help develop organizational lending strategies.
Core Requirements
· Licensing: Active NMLS (National Mortgage Licensing System) license for residential mortgages.
· Experience: 5 to 7+ years of proven origination experience with a strong track record of closed loans and high production volume.
· Sales & Negotiation: Exceptional ability to build relationships, negotiate loan terms, and network.
Education
Degree: A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business administration is preferred.
Technical Skills
Advanced knowledge of underwriting principles, cash flow analysis, and financial reporting with five + year of Mortgage Lending experience in a financial institution or loan office setting.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products including Word®, Outlook® and Excel ®
Soft Skills
Communication: Exceptional negotiation and customer service skills to guide borrowers through customized loan options and terms.
Above average knowledge of banking industry practices, policies, regulations, and laws as it pertains to the mortgage lending area.
Detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
Solid working knowledge of bank compliance requirements, as well as knowledge and adherence to Fair Lending laws and regulations.
Leadership
Ability to manage multiple priorities and occasionally mentor junior loan officers or processors
A high level of initiative, thoroughness, accuracy and organizational skills required.
Ability to manage multiple priorities/projects with varied deadlines.

Competitive compensation including profit sharing ranging from $65,000 to $85,000
